Chuckwagons were moving fast during the evening over the weekend at Rio Grande while the Little Britches rodeo took place on Sunday. On Monday the rodeo action began and continued on into Tuesday.
A ceremony was held at the Veterans Memorial Gardens on Saturday to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Liberation of the Netherlands by Canadian soldiers at the end of WWII. 80 metal tulips were planted during the ceremony by guests and dignitaries, each to recognize every year since the liberation.
