PHOTOS: Indian Relay races return to Grande Prairie

Evergreen Park hosted an indigenous celebration at J.D.A. Racewayon Sunday, June 8.

While the Indian relay races were the main event of the celebration there was also many indigenous vendors, drummers, and dancers at the event.

The White Lightning Express team for won the Indian Relay Racing championship at the Indigenous Celebration. They will now advance to compete in the Calgary Stampede.

Second was Crazy Cree Relay and third Treaty 6 Two Nations. Wild & Cree won the CAPP Lady Warriors Race and In It To Win It took the Birchcliff Energy Warriors Race and the Brogan Fire Safety Chiefs Race.
