Rain tower to help protect cities and towns from wildfire dangers

PHOTOS: Liberation of the Netherlands ceremony

A ceremony was held at the Veterans Memorial Gardens on Saturday to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Liberation of the Netherlands by Canadian soldiers at the end of WWII. 80 metal tulips were planted during the ceremony by guests and dignitaries, each to recognize every year since the liberation.
