The Heritage Day festival returned to Muskoseepi Park on Saturday.
The event included community and cultural booths, food vendors, cultural dishes, and heritage activities.
The Grande Prairie Museum was filled with visitors looking around to complete a scavenger hunt, while live blacksmithing demonstrations, rope-making, and ham radio demonstrations took place.
“This event is a reflection of how deeply connected we are as a community,” said Mayor Jackie Clayton.
“It’s through partnerships with local organizations and groups that we’re able to create meaningful experiences rooted in heritage, storytelling, and a sense of belonging.”
