The annual Beaverlodge Christmas Craze, organized by the Beaverlodge & District Chamber of Commerce, took place on Friday evening. After a day of holiday shopping and Christmas fun, the evening closed out with another stellar fireworks show hosted by the Beaverlodge Elks, with approximately $5,000 of fireworks lighting up the night.

Also new to the event this year was a Bethlehem Market hosted at the Beaverlodge United Church. In addition to Christmas cookies and a children’s shop, visitors could also don costumes for a nativity scene photo opportunity. Jack Ellis, 7, made a great shepherd for the nativity scene.
