Wembley

Wembley kicked off Canada Day with the Wembley Fire Department serving up a pancake breakfast at 10 a.m.

The sweet surprise was the perfect way to start up the Canada Day celebrations, with a bouncy house, games and activities also hosted at the fire station.

Valhalla

The annual Valhalla Centre Canada Day parade took off from the Mercantile Cafe at noon on Tuesday.

Trucks and tractors and vehicles of all shapes and sizes travelled down 100 Ave, with dozens of eager young guests watching the parade, ready to snag a handful of Canada Day treats.

Grande Prairie

Canada Day kicked off in Grande Prairie with a parade from the Hillside neighbourhood through downtown.

People then went on to Muskoseepi Park where there were rides, food trucks, and live music among many other activities.
